I love them all, but the Ace of Cups is special. It's tuning in to the divine through my art.

Re: What's the card that changed your life?
Wed, April 27, 2005 - 12:23 PMDefinitely the Three of Cups
Abundance
Friendship.
i posted the story about my experiences with this card on other tribes a while back under "Cool Tarot Synchronicity". so if you've seen this already feel free to ignore ;D
back in october, i did a birthday reading for a radical faerie sibling at the fall gathering in short mountain tennessee. unbeknownst to me at the time, a card in my deck became lost. i didn't even realize that the 3 of cups was missing until i was back in denver about to do a reading for my friend diane who likes to arrange the cards in sequence before shuffling them. so that's how i found out i was missing a card. by the way, if diane hadn't put my cards in order i probably would have continued doing readings with an incomplete deck and not noticed that i had lost a card.
i have other decks that i use besides the cosmic tribe, (like motherpeace, and haindl) but i don't have as much experience with them and they don't speak to me as loudly. anyway, i was doing way fewer readings since i lost the 3 of cups card. since my move to the west coast, i haven't had the financial resources to afford a new deck and i didn't make the time to get a hold of stevee for a replacement card which i could have done easily. my thoughts were more that it would be best to replace the entire deck than to try and fit a single virginal card into a well-used exisiting deck ;p
out here in california, i have been going out to sacramento a couple of days a week since early december to do caregiving and companionship for a really amazing, seasoned witch who just celebrated her 60th birthday on the solstice. last week, she gifted me with a new Cosmic Tribe deck. on the greyhound bus ride back to oakland, i was putting the new cards in order. lo and behold, this new deck had an extra duplicate card. which card? the 3 of cups of course, the one i was missing from my old deck.
i just love those magical zen-like aha! moments which serve as wake up calls that our journeys are sacred, blessed, and full of surprising, incomprehensible mystery sometimes.
namaste to you all,
thee origynal sinnerjee

Re: What's the card that changed your life?
Wed, June 1, 2005 - 9:42 AMThe Unicursal Hexagram!
It's only found in Crowley's Thoth Deck (and the Awakening Deck) represents "the Great Work". That is, the spiritual elevation that leads to the merging with the higher self, nirvana.
It's about bringing forth my highest self in all situations (easier said than done...lol).
I also had it tatooed at the top of my spine.
peace

Re: What's the card that changed your life?
Wed, November 9, 2005 - 10:02 PMThe Empress, my soul card. I need more of Her in my life...she is the archetypal Goddess and/or Mother Earth. I see her as the Goddess Isis, Mother of all. I love the Cosmic Tribe Tarot depiction of her as the Cosmic Mother...

Re: What's the card that changed your life?
Tue, November 8, 2005 - 6:51 AMthe princess of wands was always my favorite card and the one that i identified with myself and where i was in my life. my email address was even princessofwands@whatever... i had an amazing reading once where the princess came up as my past and the queen of wands as my future. the psychic said "change your email address." so now whenever i see the princess card, it reminds me of who i used to be and what i am becoming. peace, susan

The Moon
Mon, April 21, 2008 - 1:20 AMThe very first time I had someone read my cards - more accurately, one card - I pulled The Moon and it's made perfect sense ever since.
